An enzyme-assisted hydrolysate from Parapristipoma trilineatum is evaluated for antihypertensive effects in spontaneously hypertensive rats. The hydrolysate lowers blood pressure, modulates ACE/angiotensin II pathways and contains peptides predicted to interact with ACE.
