Since our establishment in 2015, we have been undertaking a wide range of tasks such as securing and managing marine bio resources, supporting the development of the marine bio industry, and delivering the value of marine life to the public, as the one and only institution specializing in marine bio resource research, exhibition, and education.
Going forward, we will spearhead the efforts in developing marine bio materials and supporting the related industries, which are the key to creating a new marine industry, fortify our role as an authority responsible for marine and fishery bio resources and a national control tower for marine bio resources, and serve as a resource center that provides the general public with greater opportunities for cultural activities and promotes science through exhibition and education programs.
